Account Data: When registering, we collect your name, email address, and encrypted password hash (salted via bcrypt). Email addresses are verified via an automated One-Time Password (OTP).
Usage Metrics: We track anonymous platform telemetry including search terms entered, filter combinations chosen, application link click rates, total visits, and session activity timestamps.
Cookies & Local Storage: We use essential cookies (e.g., cg_session) to maintain your login status across browser sessions, and a cookie preference flag.

2. Purpose of Data Storage

Data securely stored within our platform infrastructure is utilized solely for:

Providing personalized, bookmarkable search results and filters.
Enabling password-free session continuity so you do not need to log in on each visit.
Delivering security verification codes (OTP) upon signup.

Job records are refreshed regularly and retained for a rolling period of 7 days, after which stale records are systematically pruned. User authentication records and metrics are maintained with industry-standard encryption and zero external exposure. All network transmissions are strictly encrypted via TLS.
