• Interaction & Search Preferences: We log aggregated, anonymized search queries, filter selections (such as location, workplace type, experience level), and job listing direct click-throughs to optimize search ranking relevance and identify high-demand skills across India's technology ecosystem.
• Session Identifiers & Cookies: Essential first-party cookies (e.g., cg_session) and local storage tokens manage authentication persistence and remember your cookie consent preferences.

2. Purpose of Data Storage & Lawful Processing

All data processed and stored within our secure database infrastructure is utilized solely for lawful, legitimate purposes:

• Delivering instantaneous, accurate job discovery and multi-parameter filtering across thousands of verified employer career feeds.
• Enabling password-free session continuity so authenticated members do not need to re-enter credentials on successive visits.
• Dispatching critical security notices, password reset links, and verification OTPs.
• Monitoring platform health, throughput (TPS), API latency, and preventing automated bot scraping that degrades platform responsiveness.

Our platform services are 100% free for job candidates. CorporateGuild will never contact you asking for monetary payments, security deposits, application charges, or financial credentials.

5. Candidate Anti-Fraud & Recruitment Scam Advisory

In accordance with industry best practices for candidate safety, CorporateGuild advises all job seekers to remain vigilant against recruitment fraud and fraudulent job offers:

• Direct Employer Routing: Every job listing on CorporateGuild redirects applicants directly to the employer's official applicant tracking system (ATS) or corporate careers portal (e.g., Amazon, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Workday).
• No Third-Party Intermediaries: CorporateGuild does not operate through unverified WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, or personal Gmail addresses demanding fees for interviews.
• Reporting Suspicious Postings: If you identify a requisition that appears misleading or directs to an unverified third-party domain, notify our security desk immediately at support@corporateguild.com for rapid verification and takedown.

6. Data Retention & Automatic Lifecycle Purging

To ensure high database efficiency and minimize data exposure, we enforce automated data lifecycles:

• Job Requisition Data: Active job listings are synced and refreshed continuously from verified employer feeds. Job records older than 30 days are automatically decommissioned and pruned from our active database.
• Telemetry & Access Logs: Hourly and minute-level system metric rollups are retained on a rolling 24-hour to 7-day window, after which granular access logs are systematically summarized and purged.
• User Accounts: User account data is retained for the lifetime of active account usage. Inactive accounts can be deactivated or deleted upon user instruction without retention of orphaned personal records.

7. Third-Party Links & External ATS Policies

When you click "Apply Directly", you are navigated away from CorporateGuild to the respective employer's recruitment portal or ATS. Once you leave our domain, the collection, retention, and processing of your resume, portfolio, and contact information is governed exclusively by the privacy notice and data processing agreement of that prospective employer. We recommend reviewing the specific privacy policy of any employer before submitting personal resumes or employment history.

8. Cookie Management & Local Storage

CorporateGuild utilizes minimal cookie technology strictly for session security and site performance. Our cookie consent banner gives you immediate control over non-essential telemetry. You may also disable or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings; however, disabling essential session cookies may require you to re-authenticate upon each visit.

9. Information Security & Infrastructure Safeguards

All network traffic between your web browser and CorporateGuild is secured with Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 encryption). Our cloud infrastructure operates within secured virtual cloud networks protected by automated firewall rules, strict role-based access controls, and encrypted SQLite storage with automated off-site backups.
